Always positive and reassuring even when I made his job very difficult by narrowing my interest to one suburb and only a couple of streets. He persevered and found me the property I was looking for. Without his help the process of buying at auction would’ve been much more terrifying. He still kept in touch even after I bought it to make sure that all is good, and offered help with anything I needed. If it wasn’t for him I would be still looking….

When we started the process to purchase our new home we had set ourselves with very tight targets: budget, location, features and timing. When the first three are always within our control, time commenced quickly to diminish making our objective harder to fulfil. We had heard of buyer’s agent but thought this was a luxury reserved only for higher budgets and home sizes.

Gavin was reassuring from the start while being really transparent on what we could expect from the process. We considered his service as an expert support “only” at the start to give us a little push but Gavin did more than that. Gavin really understood our criterias of research and he pulled the impossible; within 1 week got us the home we were looking for, on all aspects. He made the whole process so smooth and flawless for us that if we would get back to market we would plan from the start to use his service again.

We have very specific accessibility needs, and don’t live in Sydney, so buying a property was a daunting task. Gavin (while working at a different agency at the time) went to numerous properties for us and took extensive videos, allowing us to shortlist suitable places for us to view when we came to town. Gavin found properties not yet on the market and gave us a much wider list to choose from. In addition, he handled the stressful negotiations over the price. We couldn’t be happier. I have to add Gavin went way beyond the call of duty, being available even on weekends and late in the evenings to deal with our peculiar needs, and think things through (especially thinking beyond properties that were wheelchair accessible to find inclusive properties) – and all that while making us feel like we were dealing with friends rather than a business relationship. Outstanding!

Gavin was attentive to our brief and was diligent and extensive in his search for our home. He presented short-listed homes frequently and continued to refine the search criteria based on our feedback.
